BHS Cheerleaders win 3A State Championship

Congratulations to the Booneville High School Cheerleaders, their sponsors, and coaches for winning the 3A State Championships.
BHS Pom Squad wins the 3A State Championship in Kick

Congratulations the the Booneville High School Pom Squad, their sponsors, and coaches for winning the 3A State Championship in Kick competition.
BHS Band Students Qualify for MSU Honor Bands

Congratulations to Karl Trace for making the MSU Wind Symphony. Students making the MSU Maroon and White Honor Bands are Bryson Edge, Charles Karnes, Jake Garrett, Jordan Bennett, and Chris Woolum. The clinic will be hled January 26-28, 2012.

Mississippi's 2011 MBA State Band Clinic in Natchez

Congratulations to Karl Trace and Bryson Edge for making the Mississippi Band Masters Association State Band Clinic. They will be representing BHS in Natchez December 7-10. Parker Smith will be representing BMS in the junior high division.
Pom Squad Competes in the Deep South Blues Classic

On November 20th, the BHS Pom Squad competed in the Deep South Blues Classic in Jackson, Mississippi. Our girls won 1st place in Kick, 1st place in Pom, and won the Overall Dance Grand Championship trophy. Congratulations to Mrs. Suzanne Hanley and all of our Pom girls.
Mississippi Lion's All-State Band

Congratulations to Khyla Shumpert and Karl Trace for making the 2011-2012 Mississippi Lion's All-State Band. They will be traveling to Hawaii in June to perform with 147 high school band students. Karl plays trombone and is in Lion's Band for the second year. Khyla placed in color guard.
