1.  The district has an overall achievement index above 200, based on all students tested as a part of the Mississippi Department of Education state accountability program; and,

2.  The district has met growth expectations set by MDE.

Booneville School District was one of only 2 districts in the state to qualify for this year's Lighthouse Leaders Beacon Award.

AIM 2.0 Parent Notification System

AIM 2.0, the district's new parent notification system, got its first test last week announcing school closings due to the snow and ice that Booneville received last Thursday.  Overall, the system was a success.  While there were a few details that had to be corrected, the district was pleased with the outcome and is now ready to move on to the next level of parent communication.  Beginning Tuesday, January 26th, the Booneville School District will be using AIM to notify parents/guardians of daily student absences.

Assurance of the success of this endeavor  depends on the accuracy of our contact information on file at each school.  If you, as a parent/guardian, are unsure that the contact information on file at the school is current or you are not receiving messages from the school, please contact your child's school and make sure that they have up-to-date contact information.
