Booneville has a long tradition of developing musicianship and color guard skills that are the best in the state. Over the years, several BHS Band students have tried out for, and have qualified for the Mississippi Lions All-State Band. This year, Colton Wilson has made 6th chair clarinet for the 2018 band. He is in the 11th grade and is the son of Bebe and Julie Wilson. He will travel to Las Vegas this June, along with about 100 other band students, for competition. Instrumental tryouts have been completed, but color guard members will not tryout until January. Check back to see which of our BHS color guard members have what it takes to be the best in the state.
