Releases from Prentiss County are due by March 1st for students living outside the Booneville School District attendance zone who wish to attend Booneville Schools.

There is a possibility that public-to-public school choice could become law this year. If so, a release would be required for students outside Booneville’s school zone to attend Booneville School District for the 2026–2027 school year, pending district acceptance. Release forms from Prentiss County Schools can be found here.

This is not guaranteed, but families are encouraged to plan ahead.
