🎉 Celebrating Excellence in Booneville Schools! 🎉

According to the U.S. News & World Report Best Schools rankings, R.H. Long Middle School has been recognized in the top 8% of middle schools in Mississippi, and Anderson Elementary School has been named in the top 11% of elementary schools statewide.

These honors place our schools among the very best in Mississippi and are a true reflection of the dedication of our teachers, administrators, staff, students, and supportive families. We are proud of the high expectations, hard work, and heart that go into our classrooms every day!

Superintendent's Message

Welcome to the 2025–2026 School Year!

On behalf of the Booneville School District, I am excited to welcome you to another year of learning, growth, and achievement. Our website is updated regularly with important information to keep you connected and informed as we work together to support your child’s success.

At Booneville, we remain steadfast in our commitment to providing a first-class education for every student. This dedication is reflected in our consistent excellence, including numerous consecutive “A” ratings on the state accountability model — a testament to the hard work of our students, staff, and families.

Our students are equipped with cutting-edge technology and innovative learning opportunities, empowering them to tackle the challenges of today while preparing for the possibilities of tomorrow. The only limits are the boundaries of their imagination. In a world that is constantly evolving, we are preparing our students to solve problems that don’t even exist yet — because that’s what a 21st-century education requires.

But preparing students for the future takes all of us working together. We invite you to join us in this vital educational partnership. Our students deserve nothing less, and together, we can help them reach their fullest potential.

After all, our motto says it best:

“Together We’re Better.”

Here’s to a fantastic school year ahead!

-- Dr. Todd English

Superintendent, Booneville School District
