Distance Learning distance learning

BSD is implementing a district-wide distance learning program for at home enrichment/remediation activities beginning on Monday, March 30th.  We are going to work over the next week to ensure our students get a quality educational experience during this extended school closure. Remediation will occur prior to any new information being presented.

"Meals 2 Go" food

BSD is in the process of setting up a “Meals 2 Go” feeding service for anyone ages 0-18.  The drive-through location will be at the bus rider line at Anderson Elementary between 9:00-11:00 on Monday and Wednesday of each week.  Monday’s sack of food will be enough for breakfast and lunch for two days. Whereas Wednesday’s sack will have enough food for breakfast and lunch for three days.  The student must be present to receive the food according to federal guidelines. The students will be served in their vehicles by a school employee. In order to comply with the guidelines of isolation, students and adults must stay in the vehicle.

BSD Earns 7th consecutive Mississippi School Board Association Beacon Award beacon

Our Booneville School District has just been presented with our 7th consecutive Mississippi School Board Association Beacon Award for being an "A" rated district. Our school board, administrators,  teachers, parents, and students should all be proud of the effort put forth. Very few districts earn this designation, and Booneville always scores near the top. Truly, "Together we are better".
